Checking service status
Where to see if Octoship or a carrier is having trouble, and what to do while it's sorted out.
On this page
Octoship talks to carrier systems — USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL Express and the international postal services — every time you fetch a rate, buy a label or check tracking. When one of those systems is slow or down, you might see rates that won't load, labels that take a long time to generate, or tracking that stops updating.
Where to look
Our status page lists each part of the service — rates, label purchase, each carrier connection (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL Express), tracking and each store integration — with its current state. During an incident we post an update when we notice, when we know the cause, and when it's resolved.
What to do during an incident
- Don't buy the same label twice. If a purchase looks stuck, refresh your shipment list first — the label may have been created even if the page didn't update.
- If you did end up with a duplicate, you can void the extra one. See Refunds for unused labels.
- Tracking delays usually catch up on their own once the carrier's feed recovers. Packages keep moving even when the scans don't show up.
