Plans change: an order gets cancelled, a label prints with a typo, or you bought the wrong service. As long as the label hasn't been used, you can void it and get the postage back.
How to void a label
- 1Find the shipment
Open it from the Shipments page.
- 2Click Void label
Confirm the refund request.
- 3Destroy the printed label
Throw it away so it can't be shipped by accident.
How long refunds take
| Carrier | Request window | Typical refund time |
|---|---|---|
| USPS | Within 30 days of purchase | About 2–3 weeks, after USPS confirms it wasn't used |
| UPS | Within 90 days of purchase | Usually within a few days |
| FedEx | Within 60 days of purchase | Usually within a few days |
| DHL Express | Within 30 days of purchase | Usually within a few days |
USPS refunds wait on the carrier: USPS watches for any scans on the label and approves the refund once it's clear the label was never used. Refunds go back to your balance or card, whichever paid for the label.
