Bought a USPS label you didn't use? Here's how to void it and when the money comes back.

Unused USPS labels can be voided for a full refund to your Octoship balance. Open the shipment and click Void label, or select several on the Shipments page and void them in bulk.
Timing
- Request a void within 30 days of buying the label.
- USPS then monitors the tracking number to confirm it was never scanned. This usually takes around 15–20 days.
- Once approved, the refund lands in your Octoship balance automatically.
Need to reprint instead? Reprints are free and don't require a void. Just open the shipment and click Reprint.
UPS labels follow different rules: they can usually be voided immediately and are refunded much faster, as long as they haven't been scanned. Your billing history shows the status of every void request, from Pending to Refunded or Denied.
