Labels printing cut off or too small

A shrunken or chopped-off label is nearly always a scale or paper-size setting. Here's how to fix it.

Updated 1 min read

If part of your label is missing, or the label prints in a corner at half size, the label file is fine — the print settings are resizing it.

  1. 1
    Check your label format

In Settings → Printing, make sure the format matches your paper: 4×6 for thermal labels, 8.5×11 for regular paper.

  2. 2
    Set scale to 100%

In the browser print dialog, open More settings and set Scale to 100% or Actual size. Turn off “Fit to page” and “Shrink oversized pages”.

  3. 3
    Match the paper size

Set the paper size to the same size as your labels — 4 × 6 in or Letter.

  4. 4
    Turn off headers and footers

These push the label down and can chop off the bottom.
