  1. Which accounts can I connect?
  2. What changes when you use your own account

Octoship's discounted rates work out of the box — no carrier accounts needed. But if you've negotiated your own rates, you can bring your account and see both in the same rate list. Octoship picks whichever is cheaper (or faster) according to your settings.

Which accounts can I connect?

You can connect accounts for UPS, FedEx and DHL Express, plus many regional and international carriers. The list in Settings → Carriers shows everything that's currently supported.

  1. 1
    Open Settings → Carriers

Click Connect a carrier account and choose the carrier.

  2. 2
    Enter your account details

Usually your account number and the billing address on file with the carrier. Some carriers ask you to sign in and approve access.

  3. 3
    Pick how rates are shown

Show both your rates and Octoship's, or only your own. You can switch at any time.

  4. 4
    Ship as usual

Labels bought on your account show a small account badge in the rate list and on the shipment.
